Founded in 2001, Zumba is the largest branded fitness company in the world – reporting more than 15 million weekly participants, in 200,000 locations, across 186 countries. Known as "exercise in disguise”, Zumba® blends contagious world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography, for an effective, total-body workout that feels more like a party than exercise. Each year, Zumba Fitness hosts its Instructors Convention and encourages instructors at its 200,000 locations to attend. Last year, their email marketing campaign made customized videos for their instructors and ended up seeing amazing click-through-rates. This year, Zumba would like to continue their creative emailing campaign but they are not yet sure what to do. Let’s say you're a marketing manager at Zumba. How would you develop an email marketing campaign that would encourage high open-rates? 1. Clearly define your goals, target audience, marketing strategy, and KPI’s. 2. Write and design the email including your call-to-action. 3. Discuss tradeoffs, risks, and metrics for success.
